National Handshake Day

Did you know June 27, 2019, is National Handshake day?

It’s commonly used as a professional gesture to greet a person. A handshake is the most used and has been used since ancient times. Although no one knows when it started, hand shakes have been recorded since 5th-century B.C

National Handshake day, is celebrated every last Thursday in June. The handshake is widely used all over the world to greet someone or when parting.

A way of introducing yourself to a person who you may have just meet or closing a business deal. It’s a sign of peace and respect for another and sometimes shared with a hug.

Celebrate by shaking a hand of someone you don’t know or normally would not have. The world needs more handshakes. You might just make someone’s day or make a new friend.
