Straight out of high school he joined the Marines, on June 2010 through June 2014, 3rd Battalion 6th Marines Regiment, Inidia Co, as a 0311 Rifleman. He was deployed to Afghanistan, Jordan & Japan, during his time in the military.

Later, he made the decision that his time in the service has come to an end and departed from the Military, to start the next chapter in his life.
A few years later, he became a Healing Art Practitioner and Yoga Instructor. He now helps people with stress through yoga and sound meditation. His dedication also helps other combat veterans, who are dealing with mental health issues caused by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). A Humanitarian.
Read about the path he had to travel to find his purpose.

Hamilton- In my 2 years in Cape Fear Community College Wilmington, NC I was doing my best to focus on track of my life going to the VA care system seeing doctors. Transitioning from the military life to civilian world was a challenge dealing with stress.
Taking medication for chronic pain, anxiety insomnia, and depression. A mix of issues all boiled up into PTSD. By my sophomore year my grade had dropped I was becoming numb to myself, my family, and those who cared about me. Night terrors and paranoia of being watched and looking for constant threats. I dealt with my pain with drinking to just finish today.
That is the life inside a combat veteran. A battle between emotions, thoughts and memories of the past. Dreams so real you could smell fire burning, carbon from the brass falling out your gun, yells coming from the tree lines. Even waking up in a bedroom alone thinking “Where am I?”
I was struggling with my issues and tried to hold things in and holding onto things can bottle up. To the point where suicidal thoughts would race through my mind. Losing friends to suicide was tough. Having to go and bury your 23 year old friends leaves an impact on you.
Through my suffering and falling to a dark place. The pills and drinking were my vice. The mix of those didn’t respond well with my body Oct 09, 2016 I went to the ER for an adderall overdose. I spent 15 days in the hospital. I didn’t even recognize my own mother. I was so ashamed of myself and what I have become. After the incident I moved back to NJ to grow healthy and whole again with my family. My family is everything to me, they are the reason I had a purpose in the marines and some how lost track of that.

I was still alive for a reason my mother told me, a sign from God that my time wasn’t my choice to take. I’m still alive for a reason and the purpose was to heal & to guide those suffering, and get them to a higher version of themselves.
I started the path of yoga after experiencing the mental and physical benefits at Integral yoga institute Fairlawn, NJ in 2017. I began this journey as I heard the inner voice calling to serve humanity as teacher through the scientific system of Hatha yoga guided as a mindful movement, a meditative, dee relaxation, breathing techniques and daily gratitude.
Fast forward 2 years later I have taken my practice and journey even deeper as I am now a holistic healer using sound, crystals & smudging to offer my services with open hands. Giving people a safe space to relax the body to the point of stillness to witness the mind & breath. Being guided to our heart centers to reconnect with our sacred divinity within. Peace.

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.

God bless, and thank you for your service. I’m truly glad you’ve found some peace and healing. I’ve healed greatly from a different kind of PTSD, but I understand your pain. 🌸
