We watched the Lion King at the theater last weekend and it’s a great family movie to watch.
My family and I decided to watch the Lion King, on Sunday since we had a movie ticket discount from the T-Mobile Tuesday App. We really enjoyed the movie, especially the kids. We rarely go to the movie theater, but we had a blast.

My children weren’t really into Disney cartoons just their sitcoms and Disney classic films, unlike my wife and I, when we were growing up. We loved Disney cartoons and films, especially the Lion King. I’m so glad the live action remake kept most of the original cartoon version, except that scar didn’t have the same look. I think the animated version was more evil looking.
The kids were really into it, laughed at every joke, sang some songs, and understood every lesson being taught in the movie, just as I did when I first watched Lion King. You know it’s a great movie, when your kids understand the the plot and the theme of the film.
I dislike it, when they remake a movie and change the storyline, especially if its already perfect. In this case, it was similar as possible. I watched the Lion King cartoon, a million times, I never get tired of watching it, it’s like watching it for the first time all over again. Thank You, Disney for making my kids experience a great movie, as I did!
Overall, if you haven’t seen the Lion King before, you need to watch it. If you’ve watched the cartoon version before, you should also watch the live remake in the theater. It is a great movie for a family day.
