One of the most famous Filipino cuisine is Adobo. This dish is often cooked in my house, because it’s one of my children’s favorite Filipino dish.
It is a cooking process with either meat, seafood, or vegetables that are marinated with vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaf, black peppercorns, and garlic. Then cook till brown and simmered with the marinade.
It isn’t the Spanish adobo you might of heard of. This dish originates from the Philippines and is considered the unofficial food of the Philippines.
The most famous style of Filipino Adobo is Adobo Manok. Manok is the Filipino name for chicken. My kids also like Adobo made with spare ribs. This dish is best served with hot white rice, the sauce soaking up the rice adds great flavor to every bite.
