Pancit (Filipino noodles)

One popular and favorite dish amongst many Filipino’s is Pancit.

Noodles was introduced to the Philippines by Filipino Chinese settlers and as time passed, it became part of the Filipino cuisine. The most popular style of noodles is pancit.

Pancit is a thin rice noodle cooked with shrimp, pork, or chicken, vegetables, soy sauce, sometimes patis (Filipino fish sauce), garlic, and lemon. Recipes vary to your preference.

It’s really delicious and is served at every Filipino party. Its a simple recipe that’s easy to make. Prep and cook time is about 40 minutes total.

It can be served as a side dish or as the main course. If you happen to get invited to a Filipino party, look for the pancit and try this delicious concoction.
