National Burger Day

Tuesday, May 28, 2019, is National Burger Day. Time to fire up the grill or go to your favorite burger joint.

If I was in the west coast, I would get me a Double-Double animal style, with the fresh cut fries from In-n-Out or a burger from, Jack in the Box. Those two places are the ones, I miss the most, since I left the west coast. Here in the East Coast, I could go to Habit burger and grill, Smash Burger, Five guys, or Zinburger, just to name a few.

Picture taken by me.

I also heard about this place, I’d like to try. It’s been around for over sixty years and has been shown on the, Food Network. This place is called, “White Manna.” They serve sliders, which you can get with or without cheese and the works, or even make it a double. Price ranges from $1.60 each for a burger slider and $2.65 for a cheeseburger slider.

Then again, I’ll probably go to, “Front Porch,” which holds the 1st place spot for my favorite burger the, Ghalbi Burger, it consists of, pepper jack cheese, sauteed onions, portobello mushroom, sunny side up egg, spicy mayo & galbi sauce served on a Brioche Bun. Doesn’t that sound delicious?

If I decide not to go out, I can just stay home and fire up the grill and make my own burgers. Making your burger to your tasting is always a good choice as well. I usually throw on some onions, pickles, chopped up lettuce, pepper jack cheese, and thousand island dressing, and a toasted bun.

How will you celebrate?
